Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Dustin D — 29 Jan 2011
What's up with the critics on these Punisher movies? In the critic consensus on both this and the Thomas Jane film, it states the films are excessively violent as a flaw. Um....IT'S THE PUNISHER!!! That's like saying Arachnophobia sucks because it has too many spiders! IT'S ARACHNOPHOBIA! It's dialogue challenged? Well, it has less dialogue than other movies probably because...IT'S AN ACTION MOVIE! If it had a lot of dialogue, they'd be saying it's a boring action movie! ANYWAY, it's pretty good overall and a slight improvement over the previous film, with Ray Stevenson as the superior Punisher, and whoever the heck playing Jigsaw doing an awesome job. Oh, and Newman from Seinfeld plays Castle's best friend.
8/10 (Great).
