Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Rotten T — 18 Jun 2011
Excessive, mindless violence and a goofy villain doesn't save this film. What makes Punisher: War Zone a little better than the first is Ray Stevenson, who portrays the vigilante as a more grittier, hardened, stylized killer.
Passable movie, but not a very good comic book adaptation. With this pattern of mediocre Punisher films, someone needs to resurrect the franchise before it all goes down in flames.
