Review of Punisher: War Zone (2008) by Darren J — 20 Oct 2010
As a straight up action movie this was pretty good. Solid but undemanding acting, a lot of action and some well put together fight scenes. This was miles better than the first Punisher movie simply because it was a gritty urban action fest rather than trying to be flashing and gimmicky.
Ray Stevenson was a solid leading man and Dominic West was great as Jigsaw. Very violent though, so not for the sensitive.
