Review of Puncture (2011) by Daniel A — 07 Dec 2011
Worth watching if only to see Chris Evans' dedicated performance, Puncture is an all-too typical legal drama with a side of drug addiction thrown in for good measure. Like the majority of these formulaic, 'based-on-true-events' legal thrillers, this is an easy watch with a heart of gold, but it's also predictable and annoyingly worthy.
Evans comprises the biggest reason to give it your time, with arguably a career best turn that shows him to be far more versatile than his back catalogue would suggest. Ultimately Puncture nothing special but worth a punt if you're looking for something decent to fill a couple of hours.
