Review of Punchline (1988) by Kelly S — 25 Jun 2007
I was extremely surprised at how Tom Hanks managed to affectively portray a stand-up comic trying to make it big. Sally Field was good too and I found it refreshing to see two well known and respected actors doing what they do best and not being affraid to take a chanc on a script that doesn't feel the need to spend thousands on special effects.
Sad in places, this film is definately worth a watch.
