Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Antgiog1202 — 06 Jul 2016
This is the fourth feature-fim of Paul Thomas Anderson and it was brilliant. For those who don't know, Adam Sandler has been known for being an unfavorably appalling actor with atrocities such as "The Waterboy," "Jack and Jill," "That's My Boy," etc. However, in the well-crafted, romantic "Punch-Drunk Love" he manages to surpass all the bad performances and brings a character who is an emotionally distressed business man with realism and great chemistry with his love interest. It's all because of Anderson's outstanding direction that made this sum-what miracle happen before our very eyes.
