Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Walter W — 04 Sep 2012
Not too sure what I just watched, but I liked it! The music was a bit too distracting for my taste, but it added to the sense of danger/excitement. I could have done without the Kubric-esque psychedelia, but I loved the creative use of long takes and practical lights to enhance shadow elements.
Oh and as for story, I was thoroughly entertained. I didn't know where it was heading at all.
