Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Andrea D — 13 Dec 2013

Adam Sandler is a salesman of bathroom supplies who is lonely and one day calls up a phone sex line which gets him in trouble when they try to extort money out of him. His sister sets him up with and he falls in love with her and travels to meet her.

When they come back, she gets injured by the people trying to get the money so he goes after them for revenge. A pretty good, if very weird movie. Sandler is great in probably his last good movie. Philip Seymour Hoffman is also great as the villain and owner of the sex line and a mattress shop.
