Review of Pumpkin (2002) by Moriah B — 02 Jan 2009
I love this movie and feel like it's coming from a good place, a place with real heart to it. I also feel like it's very tongue in cheek and satirical which I also love so the 2 combined make it a great movie.
one thing I am ticked about is that it's an awesome soundtrack which cannot be found. sure, you can find the score and I love scores usually but this movie provided a lot of indie musicians with an opening - The Gentle Waves, Johnny Corralitos, Emilliana Torrini, et al.
& then dekcuf them by not releasing an actual soundtrack. so, what did I do? I just paused on the lineup of musical credits & decided i'd make my own "Pumpkin" mix. easy as pie. Pumpkin, perhaps.
