In as much as I lift weights, I'm not and never wanted to be a body builder and yet I find this film inspirational, tongue in cheek 'docudrama' status notwithstanding . The charisma and confidence of young Arnie is forcefully demonstrated.
Yes these guys were probably on just about any drug invented, but they also knew how to train. Give this film to a Friday night socialite, bench and biceps devotee and they'll be a believer by Monday - hopefully asking more about 20 rep squat programs and less about dianabol.
