Review of Pumping Iron (1977) by Tamatai N — 19 May 2010

I got to watch this after I read a review in VICE and I was surprised how good it actually was.
I love how everybody's saying that Arnie's dad was a Nazi. But so was the Hulk's dad. You could hug Ferrigno after his dad keeps telling him how rubbish he is. If it is humanly possible to hug somebody that huge. I also love that it's not a proper documentary, Arnie's cockiness is just way out of limit, I can see a script behind that. I wish there was a script behind his shirt choice, you can see clearly what was going to come in the 80s and 90s.
