Review of Pump Up the Volume (2001) by Emily T — 07 May 2008
This film definitley rules cause of the message it sends to not only teens, but for even adults. Christian Slater is awesome as Mark Hunter, a high schooler who has a pirate radio show, calls hmself Happy Harry Hard-On, and he becomes a hero to all the kids at his school.
There are a lot of problems at his scholl cause of the principal named Loretta Cresswood, who has harrased some kids who have low S.A.T. scores into dropping out. "Pump Up the Volume" is a movie that shows the importance of free speech here in the U.
S. and there is hope for all.
