Review of Pump Up the Volume (2001) by Stuart K — 30 Jul 2011
Pump Up The Volume is a classic example of an angsty teen drama, but its better than most that I've seen. Personally, I think it speaks more to our generation that it probably did in 1990. Why? Its all about this kid who can't speak to anyone in real life, but has a huge following on a pirate radio talk show. We do the same thing on the internet, but its more rampant with us.
Its at times depressing and inspirational, but overall, its really good.
