Review of Pump Up the Volume (1990) by Jarret W — 24 Jun 2007
What could have been a very powerful and insightful look into the complicated lives of kids in high school and the power of media just had too many cheesy and unbelievable aspects thrown into the screenplay.
..Chirstian Slater is good as the character Mark but outstanding in bringing to life his alter ego "Hard Harry"...great soundtrack for an early 90's movie...I'm not one that likes re-makes of movies but a fresher, updated look, that doesn't try to only appeal to 16 year olds could make this into a much more eye-opening film.
