This is probably supposed to come off as a commentary on our addiction to technology, but it's more like. "Oh no I downloaded a ghost! Let's find some random basement server room which happens to be flooded so we can upload a virus and crash the internet.

Then when they upload the virus there is actually a loading bar that says "computer crashing." I wish my computer gave me a loading bar when it decided to crash. It'd be much more user friendly.
