The movie was okay, but nothing like the Japanese original. All they took from it was the fact that ghosts were coming after people. The Japanese version is such a better movie, though it was never really scary.
I think that is the reason Pulse wasn't great. It didn't have the greatest storyline (I watched the original after seeing this one) but it tried to be scary. It wasn't very scary, but still a pretty good movie.
I also have to mention I have been watching horror movies since I was five so not to many actually scare me. Still if you want to see a good movie (but not scary for the most part) I would suggest watching the original.
