It's no secret I love this kind of stuff and despite the americanisation of the Asian storyline, this one wasn't too bad at all. Some truly stunning visual scares and a rather disturbing central premise make it a notch above the usual video nasty.
The Asiatic approach of finding the fright in the 21st century accourements we so take for granted works here as it does in the Ring and The Grudge, although probably this one was a little more linear than either of those stories with a more mundane and therefore predictable ending.
