Is this the worst J-horror remake? No. There's far worse (like One Missed Call to be exact). Granted, this is still one of the worst. The effects are unimpressive, it's far from scary, and the acting is awful.
Probably this movies greatest weakness is how boring it is. That and how often it relies on bland special effects.
