Review of Pulse (1988) by Russell G — 21 Oct 2009
Pulse was entertaining, but not very scary. The idea was kinda strange, but the movie itself got blown out of proportion with stupid teens and their stupid ass cellphones and computers and shit. I didn't ever really find myself hoping that any of the kids would actually live or make it out of the shit.
I kind of wanted all of their stupid asses to die. The story was kinda thin and hokey to say the least which is odd because the screenplay was written by Wes Craven!? go figure. Anyways, the special effects and gore levels are satisfactory, and there are quite a few startling scenes that will prob make you jump.
Other than that it wasn't really all that. 3-starz.
