Nothing about this movie is normal, and that's a good thing. Quentin Tarantino didn't make a movie with a balance of action, story, and character development; he took it to an euphoric extreme.

There isn't a single forgettable scene from this movie--from the restaurant robbery, to the hit men's first kill, to the boxer's evasion from debt. The dialogue maintains longevity, but that certainly doesn't mean any of it is boring; it sucks you in, not to the abstract plot but to the monumental characters.

In the end, (or in this case of the unpredictable scene order, the middle) it leaves you with a transcendent sense of ambiguity, provoking you to question your taste and movies and your perspective of life.
