Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Eric S — 06 May 2014
25/30 Tarantino is obviously very successful in creating the sort of post-modern wasteland he likes here. It's even funny in a way. Now normally I hate people who ask 'but what does it mean?', but in this case I have just one query:'what does this mean?' I specifically think of scenes like the one in which Travolta splatters the insides of car with the brain and skull of a teenager.
Nevertheless, it's still a beautiful and highly enjoyable film, even if I can't quite get some elements.
