Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Matt G — 18 Nov 2015
Best laid plans are no match for sloppy humanity and ineffable destiny. Just when you think you've caught up with the movie's narrative, it takes it one glorious step further. Each event, told out of order and out of context, plays out so perfectly against each other, it makes even the brilliant Reservoir Dogs seem amateurish.
Amongst its perfect brutality and strange structure, it's still in the conversation for most watchable movie ever made. And PLEASE, somebody...make Jack Rabbits Slims a real thing.
