Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Henry F — 07 Jun 2014
Tarantino at his absolute finest, possibly the most entertaining movie ever...
This has everything you could ever want all in one film. It's genre bending, its brilliantly structured, acted and directed and is just unfairly stylish and entertaining. I'm not going to pretend its a perfect film, it's got some technical impurities and stuff and I'm not totally sure if it holds any point except from turning entire genres on their heads (which is still a damn admirable thing). But, even if that is the case, it does something that no other pointless movie has done or ever will do, it openly admits it. It's total pulp fiction, but its also total genius.
