Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Tyler K — 19 Jul 2015
Perfect tone for a movie; I am particularly fond of the tone of not only this but many of Quentin Tarantino's other films. The story was also very well done, though the ending may not be as complete as others may want it to be, I found that it was still satisfying.
Each and every character was filled with color, emotion, and personality, I'll also state that the story couldn't have been more original. The film is not linear and is cut up into different time frame sections, or "chapters", if you will.
I won't explain more about that because I'll end up spoiling the story, but I'll gladly state that it was done well and very professionally. The soundtrack was awesome, Quentin Tarantino certainly has a knack for the soundtrack he implements in his films.
The camera work was not as original as Gasper Noe's French thriller Irreversable, but then again not many films were, and besides, it was still nice and full of style. Speaking of style, the violence did not appear to be as stylized as Mr.
Tarantino's other film, Kill Bill, but it was instead realisticly portrayed and important to the film's storyline. Great film, nonetheless, everyone who likes movies has to see this film all the way through as least once before they die, in my personal opinion.
