Review of Pulp Fiction (1994) by Ben T — 26 Sep 2015
Pulp Fiction is a 1990's classic about two hitmen, a gangster and his wife, a boxer and two diner store robbers who's stories are all intertwined. This film is an absolute masterpiece directed by one of the best directors ever, Quentin Tarantino.
This film has an amazing cast, John Travolta, Samuel L Jackson, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, Ving Rhames, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer, Harvey Keitel and Christopher Walken. Every single actor is amazing and gives the performance of their careers.
Samuel L Jackson especially is amazing, the whole burger scene is one of the best scenes ever put to film. All of the stories are amazing, my favorites are the gold watch and the one with Uma Thurman and John Travolta who are both amazing especially Travolta.
Quentin Tarantino directs this film amazingly and also has a great acting role as Jimmy. The soundtrack is amazing and I adore the dance scene. This film has so many funny moments, I laughed so much at the Marvin bit and there are so many funny bits.
This film has probably the best writing and dialogue in any movie. This film is really well paced and goes past very quickly. I love this movie, it's a near masterpiece of a movie but if I had one problem I think the scene with Bruce Willia and his girlfriend goes on too long but that's it.
Pulp Fiction is an absolute masterpiece and Tarantino's best with Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs. I love this movie and it's in my top 5 of all time. A+.
