Review of Puberty Blues (1981) by Tanya M — 21 Mar 2007
This Aussie classic set in the late 70's is about two teenage girls who experience the pains of growning up while trying to become "surfie chicks" so they can fit in with the other girls at their school.
Yhe film is honest and simple in its approach (at times it feels more like a doco then a film) that shows teenage life at that time with a real and truthful manner. The direction and the cinematography are great.
