A rather disappointing movie from the usually reliable Johnnie To.
Littered with quirky Asian humour and sudden bouts of balletic violence, the thin story of one night spent by the PTU (Police Tactical Unit) trying to track down a missing gun, is familiar and inferior ground.
With the odd decent scene and some strong performances not enough to rescue it, Full Time Killer and Election (Vol. 1 and 2) would be a much better place to start for Johnnie To newbies.
