Review of Pterodactyl (2004) by Michael S — 04 Jan 2008
Coolio did a great job, but he looked SO short! The movie was Atomic Twister awful, the CGI was horrible, and the gore present but unimpressive. The biggest flaws, though, draw from such utterly awful dialogue and plot contrivances that laughter was the only option.
So Amy Sloan ends up in a nest, shoots a 'dactyl...and then lets the ripped apart but alive army guy continue suffering when she leaves? Why throw a rope across and send a man, when Sloan alone can cross alone in half the time anyway? And how quick can we forget Willis and his broken leg? Awful, awful, awful, even worse versus efforts like Basilisk and other Sci-Fi originals.
