Review of Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990) by Brian B — 09 Feb 2009
Henry Thomas and Olivia Hussey are both excellent as a young Norman Bates and his mother. The story is written incredibly well and is very insightful as to the beginnings of Norman's downward spiral.
But the modern portion of the story with Norman as an older man telling his story over the radio to an annoyinf deejay is really bad. They should have left it as a flashback only film. Still a decent film.
