Review of Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990) by Jonathan B — 06 Nov 2010
In this 4th outing we go back way back to what made Norman Bates psycho. You've met Norman now meet mother. Henry Thomas actually fills Anthony Perkins shoes nicely as a young Norman. Olivia Hussey does a great job as Mrs.
Bates too. But what made the first one so great was that air of mystery, although it gives u more reasons in this one why Norman Bates became a brutal killer. This film really makes u sympathize with Norman a little due to his mother.
Not a total loss, competently entertaining thru out.
