Review of Psycho IV: The Beginning (1990) by Andrew K — 27 Dec 2010
The whole frame story thing doesn't work out so well. Some of the flashback scenes are awful. Olivia Hussey is awful as Norma Bates. That being said, the scenes with Perkins and the radio host are fairly interesting. The ending, though out of place, is actually pretty satisfying and ends the series well.
Overall I feel as if the three sequels all had some positives. The best from the three could be taken to make a very good movie.
