Review of Psycho III (1986) by Steve J — 16 May 2014
Another underrated/misunderstood gem. Perkins does a surprisingly good job directing the film while still managing to deliver a top-notch performance. Charles Pogue's script is interesting and multilayered, Bruce Surtees gives the film an appropriately parched, scuzzy look, and the electronic score by Carter Burwell (his second film, right after 'Blood Simple') is an interesting stylistic touch.
