Review of Psycho (2007) by Pedro C — 02 Apr 2015
Not only the best of Hitchcock's darker line of thrillers, bordering into horror, this is his best production full stop. Taking everything from thirty-five years of film-making create a masterpiece of building tension, to help he has moody black and white photography, an inspired score and suspense from a few minutes in.
In any other director's hands this would have been schlock, Hitchcock makes it art.
