Review of Psycho (2007) by Ashley W — 20 Nov 2015

4/4.
Legendary film from Hitchcock. After a woman steals a large sum of money she stays at The Bates Hotel...Bad ideal. Spellbinding, technically dazzling, masterly directed horror film packs a massive wallop; even scenes that aren't the most notorious may be too intense for some viewers. Anthony Perkins ranks towards the top of the best screen villains, and Bernard Herman's score is possibly the greatest (and most famous) composition of music ever for a motion picture.
