Review of Psych-Out (1968) by Sam A — 20 Dec 2007
It is impossible for any non-drug vehicle (i.e. movie, book, anything) to make you feel like you are on drugs. movies like "psych-out" and "the trip" were part of an unfortunate cultural zeitgest created by the same kind of brain fried morons that wanted to perpetuate the coolness of drugs over actual content/meaning- the same people who like "fear and loathing" because it is "a wild book about drugs," and nothing more.
not a bad period piece however, outside of its hokey-ness.
