I don't know if it was Ireland, the letters, or Gerard Butler's abs, but I really liked this movie... I only watched it a few days ago. I had been putting it off, perhaps because of the dying part, or what.

I forgot that James Marsters was in the cast. Hee. There are a lot of movies which are more beautiful and more moving, but this works, as a chronicle of Holly and Gerry's love, and a guide to moving on.

Loved Harry Connick Jr as the besotted bar owner and of course, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Ok, between Gerard Butler, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Harry Connick Jr and James Marsters thrown in... that's well enough reason for me to enjoy this movie!
