Review of P.S. I Love You (2007) by Marina N — 14 Jun 2012

Those have been some long two hours. I don't even know what I have been watching. Hilary is such a great actress but this movie seems to suggest she should just stick to dramas. Gerald Butler is a sexy beast who can be an action star ('300') and a good character actor ('dear Frankie') but he should not 'star' in a soppy romance, especially where his character dies before we even know him.

The movie didn't work for me at all. Even worse, it went beyond uninteresting to annoying and dumb. I have probably seem most of the romcoms and love stories that were released in the recent years.

Some of them I don't like but I can understand why some people - women - like them. But please, can someone explain what is so good about this one?
