It's sad, I read the book when I was in middle school and I fear that the movie might have just ruined it. . . I'm not partial to watching this movie but if I can find a cheap DvD copy I might buy it.
If it's bad it'll forever remind me how the books can be tarnished slightly just by association with the movies.
