Laura Linney makes this film a much more enjoyable and intense experience. The story itself doesnâ??t offer anything amazingly new, some parts were a bit pointless (like the best friend, even the always fantastic Marcia Gay Harden didnâ??t have much to add or do), but in general the movie was a pleasant surprise.
What attracted me to this work was the fact it had â??made by the same people who brought you â??You Can Count On Meâ?? (which is a great film) on the coverâ?¦ I didnâ??t know the director, but will look his film â??Roger Dodgerâ?? up, as he seems to have a good hand to work with fine actors.
Linney was beautiful and very sexy, great scenes with Topher Graceâ?¦ she also had some good explosive moments with Gabriel Byrne that added some necessary life to her character. Worth checking.
