Review of Prozac Nation (2003) by Adam G — 01 Jul 2007
Christina Ricci gives a great performance in this movie that tells the tale of a harvard student on a journalism scholarship, who goes a little whacky. This takes place in the late eighties right before the boom of anti-depressants being diagonosed to an unreal amount of people.
Jessica Lange is also excellent as Ricci's distraught Mother. The question this film raises: What is normal? (Did I mention Ms. Ricci gets buck naked).
