Review of Prozac Nation (2003) by Kevin H — 07 Jul 2007
Inteligent, different, amazing. These are just a few words to describe this movie. I began having an obsession over the film...well "gradually, and then suddenly". It not only portrayed one of my favorite actresses, Christina Ricci, in a great character; but it also allowed me to relate some of my own experiences to this film.
The depression, the disfunctional family, the inability to write when it's your very soul. All of it...all I can say is that it's very controversial and in order to fully appreciate this film, you must see more than the begining scene of Ricci naked and absorb the emotional hell ride that you are in for.
