Review of Prozac Nation (2003) by J B — 25 Jun 2008
I really enjoyed this adaptation of the memoir. If you've experienced the downhill slope that is depression, you'll identify with the general aspects of the illness, even though your life isn't just like Elizabeth Wurtzel's.
If you know someone with depression and can't seem to get it, this movie sheds some much-needed light onto the difficulties experienced by the depressed. And of course, the book is better than the movie - and the movie is pretty damn good.
