"The pills weren't the cure, God no, but they gave me breathing space..." The Pills won't solve the problem, but they might give you the mental space to sort it. All what she went through, all the therapy, anger, guilt were a gradually recovery she needed to pass through.
"Young and depressed in America. The United States of Depression... The Prozac Nation...".
Rx antidepressants are just a little help not the whole solution you might need.
