Review of Provoked: A True Story (2007) by Deesh S — 24 Jul 2007

I really expected more out of this film. I wish the film had explored more of her turbulent relationship with her husband, perhaps I should read the book. The scenes leading up to her killing her husband weren?t compelling enough.

The plot didn?t seem to tie up all the ends smoothly. Naveen Andrews is great, Ash was believable, not a stunning performance. This is a timely topic which needs attention and emphasis.
