Review of Prospero's Books (1991) by Sanford R — 09 Jul 2009
It's like watching the most stunning multimedia event ever created, and based on a Shakespeare play I'm not particularly fond of. There is so much to take in with Prospero's Books that after a while it literally becomes overwhelming and wears you out.
Mostly, however, it's an extraordinary work of art by one of cinema's most unique masters.
