Review of Proof (2005) by Eylem E — 27 Dec 2011
I can see why this didn't do well. The drama is often overstretched, Claire is verging on the ridiculous, the math talk is unnecessarily dumbed down. But the story is engaging and Gwyneth Paltrow did convince me of the troubles her character has been through.
We should see more of her in such roles. She is a capable actress and should, ahem, act like it.
