Fantastic acting, Gwyneth's performance is dynamite. The scene where Catherine, Claire and Hal are arguing over authorship of the proof is perhaps my favourite. The themes of relationships, genius and mental illness gave the film potential, but it was let down by the story.
Among other deficiencies, it needed some real mathematics in it to give it authenticity.
