Review of Promises (2001) by Tiffany Z — 16 Dec 2007
One of my favourites. It really brings a human aspect to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It helps one to understand that the conflict, although difficult, is not because the sides are full of hateful, violent people.
Instead, you see that they are like anyone else--- human--- full of joy, pain, anger, etc. It's a very emotional film.
