Review of Promised Land (2012) by Kim B — 09 Jan 2013
The cinematography was probably the best part of the movie. It really makes you fall in love with the land. But the overall story just tries to hard to make a political statement on a very complicated issue.
Matt Damon is his normal talented self and really carries this movie. Its a good flick but nothing outstanding. If you are interested in the issue in talk I would recommend the documentary "Gasland".
