Review of Prometheus (2012) by Steven S — 08 Oct 2014

This Movie is Great, People say that it sucks because there was allot of unanswered questions thats True but really? We Dont even know where we came from[We Dont have actual evidence] This film Ending is a big mystery that lets people fill in the blank for themselves.Plus this a 2 hour movie if they finished the movie ending it would have been rushed,The build up and suspense in this movie is the best I have seen in a while and this new female lead has balls she is more tough than Ripley from the Other Alien Movies.I do have 3 Solid Complaints Now let me warn you the next part has Spoilers so if you have seen it Go ahead and read the rest of this Review.

1.This is my biggest complaint at the end the Prometheus Crashes into the big spaceship leaving Shaw and the Blond Captain left on the planet. The spaceship Crashes and lands on its Side and Starts rolling in a straight Line about to crush the 2 people The 2 girls get the bright idea of running in a straight line The main character chick falls to the side of the ship just shocked at the fact that the crashing ship wont follow her. The other chick dies from getting crushed.The ship falls over Shaw falls over and the falls on her ,BUT SHE GETS SAVED BY A ROCK.This 500,000,000 MILLION POUND SPACE SHIP CANT SMASH THROUGH A TINY ROCK? The rock is as tall as the middle of her thighs.

2. The Ending Feels slapped on for the sake of being an alien Prequel. How Shaw kills the alien is the same as Alien and Aliens. Just pressing a button and saying a clever line and she gives a dumb last minute speech.Also through a complicated process the white alien evolves into Alien from Shaws Alien Baby.This Movie could have easily been a Original movie it didnt need to be a prequel to Alien. I feel like this was some dumb trick to get a larger audience to go see this movie.Also how does this alien repopulate to be in Next Alien movies its in the Second Form Plus its the only one of its kind so how does it make more?

3.This is a minor one but WTF was up with the intro? Ok so when the engineer alien guy eats the black goo he dies instantly but when the does he dies over a period of time? This might be answered in the next movie but still,.

In conclusion this is a great movie I Reccomend this movie it has great build up but is Open Ended.
